Shipping Update: as of 12/10/2025

Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers – CUPW have reached agreements in principle but have yet to finalize tentative collective agreements for signing. While doing so, both parties have agreed that all strike/lockout activity is suspended. 

HOLIDAY SHIPPING Guidelines - December 2025

The following are suggested dates to ship by for Holiday shipping as provided by Canada Post.

Local Delivery: Expedited Post Dec. 22-23, 2025
Local Delivery: Xpress or Priority Post Dec. 23, 2025

Regional Delivery: Expedited Post Dec. 18-23, 2025
Regional Delivery: Xpress or Priority Post Dec. 23,2025

National Delivery: Expedited Post Dec.12-22, 2025
National Delivery: Xpress Post Dec 22, 2025
National Delivery: Priority Post Dec 23, 2025

Above dates are between urban centres and are dependent on origin and destination. Depending on how far away from Nova Scotia you live, please allow for longer shipping times.

ALL parcels delivered by Canada Post are sent to your Mailbox, Community Mailbox or left with the front desk if you have a concierge in a condo/apartment building if a drop box is not available in your building. 

A notice of delivery will be left advising that your parcel will be delivered to the closest Post Office or drop box, for your collection. Please be sure to check these locations before contacting us that your parcel wasn't delivered.

Shipping Charges are determined at checkout, according to your location. You may cancel the order at anytime before completing the order.
All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping fees are also the customer's responsibility and are also non-refundable.

Be sure to add our email address to your contacts, so that you will receive any correspondence from us!

We cannot process international orders, only orders with Canadian addresses will be processed. 

Orders placed on Friday after 6PM, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, are not processed until the following MONDAY.

*(See note above) Please allow 3-7 business days for delivery (except for BC,Yukon, NWT & Nunavut, please allow 10 - 12 business days for delivery).

Any purchase that requires Xpresspost please note that we cannot promise next day delivery for Xpresspost - please allow an extra day for handling. Delivery will take 2-3 business days from placing your order, depending on location.

Shipping Liability/Lost Packages
-Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier to your address, we cannot be held liable for theft or loss. If you believe your parcel was stolen, please check with your neighbours, file a report & contact us. We will do our very best to assist.

FRAUDULENT CLAIMS of non delivery will be sent to the authorities for further investigation and may result in criminal charges.

Shipping Tip! 
-Parcels shipped within the Atlantic Provinces (NS, NB, & PEI ) are usually delivered very quickly within two business days by using Expedited Post. Xpresspost is not needed to receive your parcel quickly, unless you live outside the Atlantic Provinces.

-When using a business address for deliveries, be sure to include the BUSINESS NAME in the address. Canada Post will not deliver to a business address without the business name in the address, as follows:
